Uhhh....not so fast. First off dating of the footprints have a error of up to 50 million years older than the date claimed..plus...tiktaalik could have been crawling around for millions of years PRIOR to the fossil found...no one is saying that they found the very FIRST tiktaalik...so your argument is not sound.

CMB radiation Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation which is a low level of radiation present EVERYWHERE in the universe. It is the radiation leftover from the big bang. It is essentially an echo of the big bang. That's how big a bang it was! We can still hear the echo. It is quantifiable (meaning you can measure it! I know this science stuff doesn't come easy to many of you theists, so you're welcome!) It is provable. It can be seen through an electron microscope. So there is verified evidence of the atheist creation story the big bang. Where is the evidence of the theist creation story? Please don't say it's that hateful, racist, violent book because anyone can write a book. This all happens before the environment selects for it. If it wasn't a convergent evolution that would mean the modern bird phenotypes existed in the Late Cretaceous. That's a bit of a predicament.

Thanks to genetics we can find similarities beyond their looks, that's why we know dolphins and bisons share a common ancestor, unlike dolphins and sharks. Adaptations lead to the body shape of an animal and viceversa. The shape of a shark is hydrodinamycal, and dolphins evolved to be very similar because that's the optimal swimming shape. Better adaptations lead to be the fittest to an environment, if the environment changes and you don't adapt you go extinct

God was very specific as to how he did it. It takes a great deal of 'faith' to believe that He created the Universe differently than He described the creation in His Word! Is it critical to salvation? No. I have 4 brothers in my LTG group, and I'm the only one supporting a young earth. One other is undecided, he feels God will show him the answer when he comes face to face with him. The others believe in a few different theories, yet all of us have a close relationship with Christ and God, and we all believe in the power of the holy spirit. BUT...when College age students who left their faith are questioned about the reasons why, one of the top reasons every time is the age of the earth. And almost all of them say that when they had questions about this, none of their mentors (pastors, church leaders, parents) had answers for them. Even top leaders in the faith and popular Christian entertainers who leave the faith say the same things. the two top reasons are age of the earth and world suffering. I have never led someone to Christ by arguing the age of the earth, but there is lots of evidence that unanswered questions about the inerrancy of the Bible has led people away from the Gospel, and eventually away from Christ. The inerrancy of the Gospel is critical to our relationship with God, even if it is not necessary for our baseline salvation. God doesn't want us just "saved". He wants us, as Paul states, "To be fully equipped to do all good works." A soldier with only half his gear and half his faith in his superiors isn't even half a soldier.

Old earth believers have their explanations of how the sin resulting from death is only spiritual death, thinking this rescues their view from your objections. But there is another problem old earthers neglect, which you could include in a follow up video: if there is physical death, predation, and disease before sin, by necessary implication there would also be fear and sadness. To hold that fear and sadness would exist in a world without sin is a non-sequitur. You guys should bring this out in a critique of the old earth view.

I have never heard or seen anyone call out a professing Christian who holds to an old earth model a heretic. If young earth is relevant, wouldn't YEC be doing just that?
